Selam AEGEE-Urla!

My name is Majken Enequist, i’m a 20 year old Art-academy student from Groningen in the Netherlands (Holland).
I had a great two weeks this summer in Izmir , Urla and Çesme !
As you can read, we learned a bit of your hard but beautiful Turkish language, every morning we had lessons, from the AEGEE-Urla people. And they found out how hard it actually is to explain the grammar of one’s own language to foreigners 
I had never been to Türkiye before, so your landscapes were new to me. And I really loved it! Your country is very different from mine, because - as Özmen can tell you – Holland is mostly flat, there are no mountains. And the sea at the Dutch is grey compared to your fantastic blue sea!
I really enjoyed getting to know so many different people from different countries (it was also my first time I went abroad with AEGEE). Except for a few problems with the organisation-part, which i think is very hard to do, it was a very nice Summer University. The best things about the SU were to me: learning some Turkish, seeing a part of Turkey, celebrating my 20th birthday with you (I’ll never forget the surprise party with the cake!) and of course being the bride at the ‘Traditional Turkish Wedding-party’ !
I miss Izmir and I’ll never forget those two weeks! I hope to be back again some day!

My name is Marcella ,I’m 22 years old and I come from Italy. I’m very happy that I took part in this summer university.
I really enjoyed myself and I learnt many beautiful things. I also met a very friendly and helpful aegee team!!!.
I’m very satisfied with this new experience in our wonderful conutry!!. I will definitely reccomend this to all of my friends!
I miss Turkey and all of you!!!!..
